is a mountainous area that  municipal units dominates the Upper village with a prestigious cool climate, mounted on a green hillside. The view of the Corinthian Gulf is unique and distinct in the west, on a large plateau, the church of St. Nicholas.

The villagers are engaged in, inter alia, agricultural activities and livestock, mainly cultivating vines, olives, cherry, walnut, etc. The products produced are distinguished by their excellent quality and is renowned throughout the region as well as the source of water in Psammiako.

In the village you will see traditional houses and modern homes to coexist with tavernas, cafes and shops and hospitable people to serve you. The village's main church, St. Nicholas is celebrated on December 6.
The area is famous for its beautiful scenery, especially in the spring when the cherry blossom and autumn when the trees change their leaves in a thousand shades of gold!
